I've prepared 2 images with OpenIndiana Hipster. Both are configured for both MBR and UEFI booting. The manifests for both are set up for bhyve, but that can be modified before you install the images. The first (oi-hipster-postinstall-releasedate) a plain installation with no additional configuration. No network configuration was specified and the root password is empty. The second (oi-hipster-releasedate) is a post install image with oi-vm-tools[1] installed. These provide integration with SmartOS/Triton for configuration of disk datasets, ssh keys, network and other standard SmartOS features like user and operator scripts. If you're interested in running OI Hipster in SmartOS or Triton, this is probably the image to use. The most current OpenIndiana, OmniOS CE and Tribblix images are available from my image server. Add the source using this command: imgadm sources -a http://images.welliver.org Please feel free to contact me with any questions! [1] https://git.sr.ht/~hww3/oi-vm-tools
